Flow Cytometry and Cell Sorting Facility
FacsScan
The Becton Dickinson FACScan benchtop analyzer. This instrument is equipped with a 15 mW 488 air-cooled argon-ion laser. This setup allows for 3-color immunofluorescence protocols in addition of forward and side scatter parameters. CellQuest is used for data acquisition and analysis that is run on a Macintosh platform. The FACScan is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to trained investigators. Training is done by appointment. Please do not attempt to use this machine without training.
